It's sometimes said that "a little knowledge is a dangerous
thing", however when in Spain, nothing could be further
from the truth.
If you live in Spain, you already have contacts, speak a
little or a lot of Spanish, then organising your wedding is
no more difficult than it would be back in Ireland or the
UK. However, it's only NOT difficult becuase, you HAVE that
little knowledge.
If you don't live in Spain, or just come here on an
occasional basis, then this is when a little knowledge can
be a big help.
The advantage that a wedding/event planner has over others
is that they have already built up a network of service
suppliers, know the advantages and disadvantages offered by
different venues and their management teams, live here year
round and advise on the weather (only advise - not
guarantee) and be in a position to negotiate good rates
from venues and suppliers.
